• The goods remain the property of The Plant People Ltd at all times during the hire period.
• Hired items belonging to The Plant People Ltd will remain at the location delivered to by us or as specified during collection by the hirer. Under no circumstances will they be moved to another address without our expressed consent.
• Should we be unable to fulfil a confirmed booking through no fault of our own, then full payment stands and no refund will be given.

• There is a minimum order value of £100 for us to be able to accept a booking. This does not include the delivery rate.
• If your hire start date is within 72hrs of you potentially submitting an order, we strongly recommend you enquire first before doing so, as logistically it may not be possible to fulfil an order with such short notice.

• Security deposits are not included in the total cost of a rental but are held as a stated value against your payment method.
• No charges or authorisations will be made to your payment method unless we need to make a claim.
• We have 48 hours after the return date to make a claim on the security deposit and you will be notified within this time before we do so to discuss the issue at hand.

• The hire period starts on the day of delivery/collection until and inclusive of the day of return.
• On booking confirmation, you will be contacted to agree the specific time of day you will need delivery and collection to be made.
• It is the responsibility of the hirer to make sure the pre-agreed times of delivery / collection are adhered to.

• We will deliver and collect all plants as per the hire agreement, at the specified time, date and location.
• Should the hirer or venue prevent us from collecting any or all of the hired items at the time specified, we reserve the right to charge for any additional hire period, losses, expenses, waiting time and all additional costs in order to recollect.
• For stipulated delivery or collection to occur out of office hours - that is, between the hours of 7pm - 7am - there is a £75 + vat charge in addition to the delivery rate. This charge is taken as a separate payment by phone.

• Ground floor access within 25 metres max of the delivery point.
• Entrance width compatible with greenery hired.
• Allocation of off/on loading parking space.
• Delivery and collection slots and any necessary passes for secure venues e.g. Exhibition Centres, must be organised and made available to us.
• The hirer must inform us of any difficulties regarding access and get agreement at the time of booking, e.g. stairs or lifts being the only means of access.

• Customers who choose to collect or return items themselves must use vehicles suitable for this purpose, including means of securing the items safely.
• We reserve the right to refuse the release of hired items to any customer without a suitable vehicle for the safe carriage of the items.In any such cases of order fulfilment being compromised by the Customer’s own fault, no refund will be given.
• You the ‘Customer’ are responsible for collecting the hire order items at our given premises at the time agreed.
• You are responsible for ensuring yourself or an authorised representative are present during both agreed collection and return windows.
• On collection, you are responsible for the provision of appropriate loading manpower subject to order size. We will provide limited assistance with loading on collection and unloading upon return to our premises.
• On collection, you must provide the following:

1. A valid form of photo ID, e.g. a passport or driving licence.
2. Proof of order, whether printed copy or on mobile email.

• You will be liable for any damage caused by you or your party whilst you load the items.
• Items must be returned and repackaged in same condition as they were received.

• In addition to the paying customer’s photo ID, any persons including couriers will be expected to provide photo ID.
• If you are using an agreed courier collection and return, it is advised that you provide the courier with the name you booked your order under and your order number. It is strongly advised that you keep in contact with us to inform when a courier is likely to arrive and what courier company you have booked.
• You will be liable for any damage caused by your courier whilst they load the items.
• Items must be returned and repackaged in same condition as they were received.

• With prior agreement, the hirer may decorate plants hired to them with acceptable materials and /or lighting. 
• Please ensure all decorations are removed from the hired plants prior to collection or return.
• Agreement to decorate does not remove or undermine liability for damage should any occur during the rental in the hirer’s care. 

• The named ‘hiring’ customer is responsible for all items hired under this agreement from the point of delivery to the hirer until end of the hire contract, whereby all items hired are safely collected and or, returned to Plant People Ltd.
• A claim will be made against the security deposit amount on any hire items that have been damaged, lost or not returned.

• We strongly recommend you have insurance in place, covering collection to return dates.
• The Customer assumes all responsibilities & liabilities once hired items have left our premises, until they are returned to us.
• The Customer undertakes all safety measures for hired items in compliance with safety & fire regulations. It is essential Health & Safety practice to keep all items away from heat sources. 
• Alteration or temporary addition to any of our hire items is strictly prohibited.
• On hires covering a period exceeding 48hrs, the plants may have to be watered with mains tap water. We shall give instruction on booking confirmation.

• The hirer agrees that, once Plant People Ltd have offloaded their rental items, responsibility for Public Liability becomes The Hirers. Public Liability needs be in force for the duration of the event until Plant People Ltd have collected the hire items.
